Big selection of frames, thorough eye exams by an ophthalmologist, friendly staff, woman-owned. I have been coming here for years.

We had the best experience at Metro Eye. We suspected that my 8 year old son needed glasses. He was really upset about it and was worried what other kids would think. Everyone at Metro Eye took such great care of him and made him feel at ease. Dr Jankowski is top notch! She had such a kind demeanor with him and explained things in a way he could understand. I would highly recommend Metro Eye to anyone needing an eye exam or glasses.

Great selection of eyewear. Exam was no fuss. They have some super pricey frame options and Deedee pulled ones in my budget that looked great with no pressure to buy a pricey pair.

Basically the polar opposite experience of those chains like lense crafters.

I have been seeing Dr. Jankowski since she opened her practice on Water Street. I trust her completely with my eye health. She’s my favorite optometrist ever, and I’ve worn glasses for over 60 years. She hires the best and trains her staff to be professional and friendly. Just the best!

Wonderful staff. Super friendly from first talking to the staff at the front desk! The technician will then get you started on your exam, and is super friendly and helpful. The doctor is incredibly positive as soon as she walks in the door!

Picking out glasses was so much fun! The optician selected an array of frames she thought I’d like, and she had some great choices. She was super friendly and fun, but the icing on the cake was when I was offered a cup of coffee as I shopped for glasses.

I’ve been to eye doctors in several cities and Metro Eye is BY FAR the best. Every one is very friendly and kind, the doctors are professional and thorough, the machinery is modern, they have a large selection of frames and (again) the people who work there are just really wonderful. You’re treated like a person, not just a customer. I cannot recommend a better place to get your eyes treated or glasses purchased.
