I’ve been living with keratoconus for the better part of 20 years. I’ve had glasses, contacts and surgeries. Been told that my vision would be fixed with procedures, only to have them unable to correct my vision. It got to the point where I honestly thought about just giving up, and living in a blurry world for the rest of my life.
I had previously gone in for an eye exam at metro a few years prior, and heard the same thing I had heard before, that they would be able to fix my vision. But the professionalism and their commitment to eye health made me come back and make the plunge for scleral lenses. From the moment I walked in for my first appointment to today, took about 2 weeks, and I can see now. Not just sort of make things out, I can read, see peoples faces and see definition in the world for the first time in decades. The kind folks at metro eye literally changed my life. The fitment process was thorough, they answered all the questions I had about the lenses and care, and helped me through with a contact that I can wear all day with 0 discomfort and perfect vision.
If you have keratoconus and are struggling to find a good optometrist to help you navigate, metro eye is the place. I cannot thank Jayme and Dr. Amanda enough for their help. This was an outcome that I did not believe was possible, but they have “opened my eyes” and now I can live my life with razor sharp vision.

I have been a patient at Metro eye for a few years. I recently had another annual eye exam. I am again impressed with Dr. Amy, the office and the staff. Thorough, personable and informative! I get a quality visit that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. I have already recommended Dr. Amy and Metro Eye to my family and if you are considering becoming a patient here do it! I come from the suburbs, there is a parking garage and they validate the ticket. It’s super easy to get to the office. Furthermore they provide exceptional assistance in choosing frames and fitting for comfort. 5 stars but would give them 10 if I could.

Excellent care & super-friendly doctors and staff! I’ve been going to Metro Eye for a year and have had exceptional experiences with both Dr. Ringle (who has since moved on) and now Dr. Kopcyzk. Everyone I’ve met there from the medical staff and technicians to the optical stylists and front desk folks have all been delightful.
I’ve never had trouble getting an appointment when needed, and the billing team’s assistance with insurance approvals made that process hassle-free.
What’s more – the building itself is gorgeous! The soaring ceilings and abundant natural light create an airy, welcoming space.

Optometrist was friendly knowledgeable about how to make the needed changes with an astigmatism. The appt was fluid from the check in to the assistant to the Optometrist to the eye tech. Best service I have received in all my years going to these types of appts (45 years)

Dr. Amy is smart, fast, always friendly. We take our little ones to see her and she is amazing with them! The whole family goes to see her! The office is always clean, great and knowledgeable staff!
