We Energies Street Construction Update
We Energies will be working on the 300 block of Milwaukee St. (west side) and 300 block of Buffalo St. (north side) starting this next Monday, March 29th.The work is expected to take two weeks.
The project will upgrade the conduit and cabling for We Energies and their customers in relation to the new Jefferson St. substation.
Note that during this project, a two-day closure of northbound Broadway at Buffalo will occur due to the location of a manhole in that intersection.
300 Milwaukee St.
The 300 Milwaukee St. work zone will CLOSE southbound traffic between St. Paul and Buffalo. Driveway access will remain for the duration of the project. No parking will be allowed on the west side of the street.
300 Buffalo St.
The 300 Buffalo St. work zone will close westbound traffic and no parking will be allowed on either side of Buffalo. Eastbound traffic will be allowed between Milwaukee and Buffalo. Again, please note a two-day closure of the northbound traffic lane at Broadway and Buffalo will be a part of this segment of work.
As always, these projects can be affected by weather.
Thanks for your patience in the Third Ward during the work. We will continue to keep you apprised of any potential traffic and parking impacts from these projects.
