It’s that time of year again! We’re halfway between the winter solstice and spring equinox. And as is the case every Groundhog Day, this morning the ever so talented Punxsutawney Phil was itching to get outside and let us know if spring will come early this year!
For those of you who need a little refresher, Groundhog Day takes place every February 2nd. According to legend, on this day if Punxsutawney Phil emerges from his burrow and is scared back in after seeing his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. On the other hand, if he does not see his shadow spring will come early!
So the verdict is in, and as for spring 2015… break the hot coco out and settle in for six more weeks of winter.
