We are so excited to welcome an amazing designer who has just returned to the optical field. Alain Miklitarian, better known as Alain Mikli, is back and better than ever! The independent eyewear community has missed Alain’s high end french design ever since he sold his original line, also called Alain Mikli, to Luxottica In 2012. The design gene seemed to run in the family when his son, Jérémy, released his own line called TARIAN. Watching his son continue in the design world made him miss designing and the creative process. After collaborating with Jérémy on a few designs within the TARIAN line, Alain decided to come back to share his creative genius by releasing Dansharian.
Dansharian is the new exclusive collection created by the collaboration of Alain Miklitarian’s innovative genius and Danshari’s artistic minimalism. The Dansharian collection consists of a mix of Alain’s Armenian culture and love for French design with Danshari’s Japanese technology. The colors used in the collection are inspired by the rocks and mountains of Armenia, and the names of the models recall some of Miklitarian’s favorite places.
