Getting glasses can be a big deal for kids…especially when it’s their first pair. At Metro Eye, we want that experience to be something they enjoy.
One of our favorite things is watching a child start looking through the frames and suddenly find the one. Sometimes it’s the color, sometimes it’s the shape, and sometimes they just put them on and say, “Yep! These are it!”

We love Etnia Barcelona for our younger patients. Their kids’ frames are colorful, creative and definitely not boring. The fun colors, patterns and shapes give kids a chance to show a little personality with their glasses.
And honestly…kids love them.
We love watching them try on different styles and seeing their reactions. Sometimes the pair their parent or guardian thought they would choose isn’t even close to the one they fall in love with – which is always fun!

For kids who like to create and customize, our iGreen display is another favorite.
With different colors and interchangeable pieces, kids can mix and match to create a combination that’s all their own. It makes choosing glasses feel a little more like creating something than simply picking a frame off the shelf.
Of course, we’re always making sure the frame is the right fit and works with your child’s prescription and lifestyle. But once we’ve got those things covered, we love letting kids be kids and have some fun with their glasses.
Because when kids love the way their glasses look, they’re much more excited to wear them.
