I hope this month’s letter finds all of you well after the Thanksgiving Holiday and ready to celebrate your way into the New Year. As I am sure is true for many of you, I find myself reflecting back at this time of year on all of my good fortune. Last year those thoughts prompted the Metro Eye team to create our first Gift of Sight campaign which allowed us to donate over 30 eye health exams and glasses to those that weren’t quite as fortunate as us. Your generosity was so overwhelming that we decided to make it an annual event. This year our goal is to help 60 people.
Several weeks ago, the Metro Eye staff, family and friends again donated their time and artistic talents to paint holiday ornaments. These ornaments now decorate our Metro Eye holiday trees and hopefully will find their way to your home. For each ornament we ask for a donation of $45. Your donation will allow a person in need to receive a comprehensive vision examination and pair of glasses from Metro Eye at no cost to them. You should display the ornament proudly on your own tree and remember that your generosity allowed someone in need to receive the Gift of Sight.
