Traveling this summer? Are you the type of person who packs a month in advance or the night before?
Either way, don’t forget to pack these eye care essentials to make sure you’re able to see everything your travels have to offer.
1. Eye drops
Even if you don’t normally use eye drops, they can come in handy on long days of travel. Not only do they help fight the dry eye you might experience at high altitudes on an airplane, they can also help ease allergies that may pop up when you get to your destination.
2. Sunglasses
Chances are you’re planning on getting some sun on your vacation, or at least stepping foot outside. If that’s the case, don’t forget to shield your eyes from dangerous UV light with a pair of sunglasses.
3. Make up remover (if needed)
For those of you who don’t wear make up, you’ve never experienced the dread of realizing you don’t have any form of make up remover. Not only does leaving your make up on over night make you look like a zombie in the morning, it can also be very bad for your eyes.
4. Other appropriate eyewear
If you regularly wear glasses or contact lenses, double check that you are wearing them or have them packed, along with any solution you might need. Also, consider what you’re planning on doing during your trip. If you think having a pair of athletic glasses or an extra pair of readers might be good, make sure to bring them along.
Now get out there, get packing and go see the world!
