Metro Eye has, since day one, had a mission to provide the Greater Milwaukee Area with the finest professional eye care and the city’s most luxurious and exclusive eyewear collections. Throughout the years, as we’ve continued to grow, you’ve stuck with us, offering feedback along the way that has allowed us to evolve and continue serving you with the level of attention and quality of product you expect and deserve.
As we look ahead to the next chapter, here are 10 excEYEting things to look forward to…
New Address
- Starting June 03, 2014, you’ll find Metro Eye at 325 East Chicago Street– 1 block south and 2 blocks east of our existing location! All other existing contact info will remain the same.
Better Parking
- The public lot kitty-corner from our new store (Chicago St. and Milwaukee St.) means you’ll never have to worry about street parking again!
Less Stairs!
- We are (actually) street level! Our new location is on the first floor of the Timberworks building and you’ll be able to walk right in to our eyewear boutique.
New Doctor
- The new space and technology is allowing us to welcome Optometrist, Dr. Nathaniel Harkins, to our group! Dr. Harkins comes to Metro Eye from right here in the Greater Milwaukee area. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. When Dr. Harkins is not inspecting eyeballs, he enjoys outdoor activities like waterskiing, cross-country skiing, attending music festivals, fishing internationally, and cooking authentic Memphis BBQ!
More Exam Rooms
- In order to serve everyone with the absolute best service and equipment, we have installed more exam rooms in our new location. More exam rooms = more appointment availability.
New Designs. New Designers
- Many of the designers we currently work with, including Colors in Optics and iGreen, will be significantly expanding their product selections at Metro Eye. We’ll also be able to bring in brand new designers that will supply us with never before carried frames! Stay connected for more details…

- One of the goals in opening our new location is to offer more eyewear products that appeal to a variety of lifestyles and budgets. Whether you’re ready to invest in a totally custom frame, or you need a low-cost solution that still looks like a million bucks, we’ll have it all- and everything in between!
Easier Access to Eyewear
- Our expanded space allows us to have significantly more display space meaning more access to more glasses. All of our frames will be out in the open and customers are strongly encouraged to try them on!
