Full-time Billing/Administrative Assistant needed for busy Third Ward practice

You must have a polished look and professional attitude to work in this fashion forward, technologically advanced, sophisticated office. You must be very comfortable with phone communication and technology. Primary Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Insurance remittance and posting
  • Accounts Receivable management and collections of old debt
  • Acquisition of insurance benefits and explanation of benefits to patients
  • Front desk reception and answering the telephone
  • Reconciling statements
  • Critical thinking in order to solve patient requests


  • Multitasking with superior attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Office products
  • Experience with Electronic Health record systems
  • Understanding of claims and insurance billing processes
  • Familiar with HIPAA regulations and Security Regulations
  • Excellent Math skills
  • Efficient and thorough completion of responsibilities

Full-time Optician

Metro Eye, a privately-owned optometric practice and eyewear boutique in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, is seeking an experienced Optician to join our team. We have provided Metro Milwaukee with state-of-the-art eye care and designer eyewear for the past 19 years.

Our approach to the eyewear buying experience is different than most. Our sales opticians are highly trained to fit and style customers all while educating them on ways to meet their visual needs and wants.

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience in the optical industry
    • Eyewear Dispensing
    • Optical Lens knowledge
    • Frame fitting expertise
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Well organized and thoroughgoing
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Exemplary computer skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Superior product knowledge and desire to continue learning
  • Able to maintain a polished appearance
  • Energetic, team player and motivated
