This Fall you’ll see that eyewear is brimming with stylish statements. Outfits will be amped up with glasses that have chic shapes and colors. Eyewear that you’ve see on the runway might seem a little over the top, but don’t shy away from it, fashion experts say it will be a great accent to any outfit.
“During New York’s Fashion Week, we saw a revolution in eyewear,” observes Gayle Haworth, Co-Found of Flutter Eyewear. “Oversized oval frames on the runway … Off the runway, oversized statement sunglasses were the order of the day, in spite of the rain and snow.”
Classic frame shapes like rounds and cat eye’s have been popping up in more colorful styles this year. If you really want to be bold, try wearing men’s fames (on women), it can add a powerful edge to any outfit.
Popular colors you’ll see this fall season will be deep greens, smoky grays, (which is a great alternative to black) warm purples and vibrant oranges. Frames that have two-toned colors are an excellent choice. They match perfectly with the changing autumn colors and the ombre fade trends.
The trick to staying fashionable this fall is to stay within the basic colors and shapes of the trend. The great thing about eyewear is that you can quickly update your look with just a pair of glasses.
