Dr. Amy Jankowski Celebrates Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month By Earning a Rider’s License

Dr. Amy Jankowski has years of optical training, education, and experience; yet even she learned a few new things about vision (and how vision relates to movement) while training to ride a motorcycle! Upon recently completing the required visual exercises at Ride Alive Motorcycle Academy in Milwaukee, she found the experience fascinating as they clearly demonstrated the scope of her central vision. Dr. Amy is extremely enthusiastic about her experience at Ride Alive, as the staff’s creative personalities added to her overall enjoyment of the course…and she excitedly anticipates a season of safe riding!

MORE ABOUT RIDE ALIVE

Ride Alive Motorcycle Academy was founded in 2006 and is a private motorcycle training school, operating seasonally. The main base of operations is located in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood, and their entire curriculum is regulated by State and National standards of Wisconsin Motorcycle Safety Program (WMSP) and Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF).

Ride Alive currently offers a Basic Rider Course with use of their trainer bikes and Basic Rider Course2 where students with experience use their own bikes for a faster and more evasive riding course. Instructors are passionate about their motto: “Practice! Practice! And practice some more!” Students can choose from a variety of weekend and evening courses, and the school season typically runs from April through October, in all weather conditions!
