Jodi Soya

Jodi was discovered as a model optician in 1987, when the opportunity to fulfill her stylist potential literally sought her out. At that time, her management position as a customer service guru at a fine dining establishment enticed eyewear professionals to offer her a unique opportunity to unite her nature of giving positive experiences with the dynamic world of eyewear fashion. As Jodi carries with her immense experience with customer care, she is also fluent in all facets of optical practices that include high fashion frame merchandising and optician training, and is truly an invaluable addition to our team of opticians. She studied optical science at Roosevelt University to earn certification from the American Board of Opticianry in 1986, and dreams of a trip to Barcelona, Spain, to watch Etnia’s skilled craftspeople sculpt colorful layers of plastic into the most energetic and vibrant frames that she has every seen. Jodi is immensely excited to be fitting the finest international frame collection in the Midwest, and tirelessly utilizes her enthusiastic zest for customer service to ensure that our clients’ visual needs and fashion desires are always thoroughly satisfied.

Her favorite frame of all time is Barton Perreira’s style named ‘Dorian’ which, reflecting her personality, has a playful sophistication with a modern yet subdued white glowing presence inlaid with accents of crystal.
